Learn And Play® School Pleasant Hill South Campus serves children ages 18 months to 9 years of age.
At Learn And Play School, there are three separate playgrounds developmentally appropriate for the age groups it serves (the Pre-Kindergarten and Before & After-School programs use the same playground at different scheduled times). Pre-K age groups use our courtyard area once per week with their classrooms. The courtyard features 4 separate thematic areas (Building Block, Office, & Car repair area), picnic tables, and a small grass area.
Our school has many rich materials that enable our children to explore, experiment, and problem-solve in areas of mathematics, science, social studies, language, large and fine motor skills, and social and emotional interactions.

There is a 10% sibling discount. Discount will be applied to the lesser amount.*

Registration Fee: $300 (Non-Refundable)
For Children Who Are Not Potty Trained, the Diapering Fee Is: $125 per month
Materials Fee applicable to all age groups: $350 per year (Non-Refundable)
Material fees will not be prorated.

Morning preschool and Pre-Kindergarten are structured around monthly themes and are designed to foster all aspects of a child’s development. We provide lots of fun, updated materials, and small learning groups. Through daily activities such as circle time, art activities, math or science, motor skills, and social study, we provide opportunities for progressive growth of each child’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creative development. Twice a week the children are introduced to the Fletcher Reading Program (a program that works on teaching the children the sounds of the letters before the name recognition.) What they learn is reinforced in the classroom and continued at home with weekly homework to include the parents in the process.
Before & After-School Program
(Kindergarten – 9 yrs)
We provide Before & After-School care for a limited number of children who attend Pleasant Hill Elementary School (PHE). A staff member from Play and Learn School will walk your child to and from PHE each day*. In the after-school program, we expand on the child’s already growing social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creative development by providing art activities, cooking projects, inside free play, and outside playtime. Language skills and problem-solving skills are used during peer interactions, along with the respect for individual differences that make us special.
*This service requires an additional fee and it is only available to Full Day Programs.
