At Learn and Play Montessori School we aspire our children to become self-confident and motivated individuals. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that "no human being is educated by another person. He must do it himself or it will never be done. A truly educated individual continues to learn long after he leaves the classroom because he is motivated within by a natural curiosity and love for knowledge." Therefore, at Learn and Play Montessori School our objective is not to fill the child with facts from a pre-selected course of studies, but rather to cultivate his or her own natural desire to learn.
The school is organized to allow the child to move freely in an environment which has been specially prepared by certified Montessori Teachers. We provide an attractive, child-sized environment that is engaging and responsive to each child, at each stage of development. We know that learning is fun and we promote a learning environment where children can work and play together with joy and spontaneity.
Learn and Play Montessori School offers preschool, kindergarten, and after school programs for children ages 2 to 6 years of age. We offer morning, full day, extended day, and after school programs. We also offer both full time and part time programs. Our school is located in Fremont, CA which is in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. |
