Niles Campus

Welcome to Learn and Play Montessori School’s beautiful Niles Fremont Campus. This Montessori Preschool is located in the historical Niles District of Fremont, immediately to the south of the Union City border and to the west of the foothills. We are located at 35699 Niles Blvd, Fremont, California. You can reach this campus at 510-648-2939.

This beautiful Montessori preschool campus serves children 2 years to 6 years of age and offers a year-round Montessori program. This campus is nestled in a residential area, which features 9 large classrooms with natural light. The classrooms open to a well-equipped playground with lots of trees and shade that inspires outdoor exploration. There is a separate playground for the toddler age group for our toddlers to explore, engage, socialize and have fun!

Our Montessori Preschool serves children ages 2 to 6 years old. The program places heavy emphasis on tactile learning, and also promotes a cooperative learning environment where students learn from one another.  Our preschool children also experience extra activities such as art, music, movement, performances, and Spanish.

Our Programs sets children on a lifelong path of exploration, in a world created especially for the heart and mind of a young child. A child’s natural path to knowledge follows the notions of curiosity and wonder.  Therefore, our classrooms are designed to provide a stimulating environment for children where they will be exposed to fine and gross motor activities, speech and language development activities, pre-counting activities and develop socialization skills. Our Preschoolers are given time to become fascinated by a concept, and encouraged to develop their potential at their own pace.

Our Kindergarteners act as positive role models for their younger classmates, assuming responsibility that will further reinforce their own capabilities and self-esteem. Everything that children have learned during the Preschool years comes together in Kindergarten, giving children a readiness to meet and explore new challenges. The Kindergarten curriculum strongly focuses on literacy, math, and skills necessary for elementary school such as penmanship, completion of assignments, as well as self-organization. Enrichment activities such as art, music, movement and stage performances, and oral presentations round out the Kindergarten experience, as well. In addition, our Kindergarten class is included within the structure of the Spanish Language Program.

The Montessori certified and trained teachers provide children with education that helps them to achieve academic success to reach their full potential. Montessori is an educational approach grounded in the belief that children learn best within an environment that respects and nurtures their individual and unique capabilities and this school provides them exactly that.
