Learn And Play® School Pleasant Hill South Campus serves children ages 18 months to 9 years of age.
At Learn And Play School, there are three separate playgrounds developmentally appropriate for the age groups it serves. Pre-K age groups use our courtyard area once per week with their classrooms. The courtyard features 4 separate thematic areas (Building Block, Office, & Car repair area), picnic tables, and a small grass area.
Our school has many rich materials that enable our children to explore, experiment, and problem-solve in areas of mathematics, science, social studies, language, large and fine motor skills, and social and emotional interactions.

- Registration Fee: $300 (Non-Refundable)
- For Children Who Are Not Potty Trained, the Diapering Fee Is: $150 per month
- Materials Fee: $350 per year (Non-Refundable)
Family and Military Discount
- There is a 10% sibling discount. Discount will be applied to the lesser amount.
- Children of the active U.S. Armed Forces personnel will get 10% discount.
- Only one discount will be applied to your account.
Toddler Program
Social and emotional development is a major part of our Toddler program. Our teachers provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for toddlers, this promotes a sense of independence and self-pride in children. Through songs, books, fingerplays, and verbal communication with the toddler throughout the day, we set the foundation for future language development. We provide a variety of opportunities to promote maturation by the use of small and large motor muscles both inside and outside the classrooms. Teacher-guided group activities and tactile experiences help to create an atmosphere to enhance social and emotional growth.
Preschool Program & Pre-Kindergarten Program (2.5-3.5 years)
Morning preschool and Pre-Kindergarten focus on monthly themes to support all aspects of a child’s development. We offer fun, updated materials, and small learning groups. Daily activities include circle time, art, math or science, motor skills, and social studies, promoting growth in social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creative development. Twice a week, children engage with the Fletcher Reading Program, learning letter sounds before name recognition. This learning is reinforced in the classroom and at home with weekly homework involving parents.
Transitional Kindergarten (3.5 years until they go into Kindergarten)
Our Transitional Kindergarten program is designed to give children a lifelong passion for learning. In this program, children are given hands-on experiences to guide them academically and emotionally and contribute to their lifelong learning journey. We incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in our daily curriculum to foster a fun and creative way to learn complex concepts.
