Summer is around the corner, bringing with it fun-filled adventures that our teachers and students are excited to begin. Learn And Play operates 15 locations—and we’re continuing to grow! Our Montessori and Play-based schools offer academic programs tailored to their unique educational philosophies, and our summer programs are no exception.
For our current Learn And Play families—there’s no need to re-enroll for summer, you can skip the stress and jump straight into the fun. Those new to our community, we’re excited to welcome you to the adventure. With locations from Hercules to Sunnyvale, we’re ready to make this the best summer ever with your little one. Play-Based Summer Curriculum
At our play-based Pleasant Hill campus, curiosity takes the lead! This summer, our little learners will dive into STEM through hands-on exploration and joyful collaboration. From discovering the wonders of space and astronomy to witnessing amazing chemical reactions, science will truly come alive. And that’s not all—our budding authors will explore the magic of literature with a special visit from the Pleasant Hill Library and even create a story together as a class!
Meanwhile, at our play-based Moraga campus, the fun continues with even more science adventures! Our young scientists will roll up their sleeves for exciting STEM experiments while also exploring the animal kingdom—from the depths of the ocean to the heart of the rainforest. Both campuses will also be participating in fun summer activities such as outdoor water play and gardening. Learning has never been this wild—or this fun!
Montessori Summer Curriculum
At our Montessori locations, our curious explorers will embark on an animal adventure, learning about fascinating creatures from Antarctica, the rainforest, Africa, and more. Guided by Montessori principles, students will dive into hands-on STEM activities like experimenting with magnetism, renewable energy, space astronomy, and more science fun. Summer wouldn’t be complete without outdoor fun, our days will also be filled with giggles, bubbles, and plenty of fresh air with outdoor play!
